From 29 October to 1 November, Turin becomes a meeting point for contemporary art, experimental music and independent creative scenes. Alongside Artissima, the city’s leading art fair, exhibitions, public installations and alternative cultural events offer a broader view of its evolving art landscape.
Artissima returns to the Oval Lingotto from 30 October to 1 November, bringing together 183 galleries from 35 countries. This year’s theme, Fancy: A Flexible, Acrobatic Body, sets the tone for a fair exploring the possibilities of contemporary artistic practice. Elsewhere, The Others Art Fair occupies Parcheggio Lancia from 29 October to 1 November, with a focus on independent art spaces and emerging voices. Flashback Art Fair, also running from 29 October to 1 November, approaches art through unexpected connections across periods and disciplines, while Paratissima presents emerging artists at the Real Collegio Carlo Alberto in Moncalieri from 30 October.

Beyond the fairs, a major exhibition dedicated to Marisa Merz unfolds across Fondazione Merz, GAM and Castello di Rivoli. Titled La danza delle ore, it opens on 29 October and runs until 4 April 2027, offering an opportunity to encounter the work of one of the central figures of the Arte Povera movement across three institutional settings.
At Pinacoteca Agnelli, Laure. Chris Ofili & Édouard Manet opens on 30 October, bringing two distinct artistic practices into dialogue. From 31 October, OGR Torino presents Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room – The Eternally Infinite Light of the Universe Illuminating the Quest for Truth, an immersive installation that extends the artist’s longstanding investigation of repetition, perception and infinity. Photography takes centre stage at CAMERA with Letizia Battaglia. L’opera 1970–2020, on view until 7 February 2027.
Art also moves beyond museum walls. The annual public art programme Luci d’Artista, running from 23 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, transforms Turin’s streets and squares through light installations. Meanwhile, C2C Festival brings experimental electronic music and contemporary sound to the city from 29 October to 1 November. At MAO, Evolving Soundscapes, curated by Chiara Lee and Freddie Murphy, opens on 31 October and explores the ways sound shapes our experience of the world.

The programme extends into more intimate and sensory territory with Forme Invisibili at Olfattorio, Piazza Bodoni 4/f, from 29 October to 1 November. On 29 October, a Sin Control Vintage DJ set featuring @ruizosc1 adds another note to the week’s after-hours programme.
Taken together, these events reveal Turin Art Week as more than a sequence of art fairs. It is a city-wide programme in which established institutions, independent platforms and public spaces intersect, inviting visitors to discover contemporary art across different formats, disciplines and neighbourhoods.
