Madonna has confirmed the news fans have been waiting years for: a new dance album, due out in 2026, marking her first full-length release in nearly seven years. The project also signals something of a homecoming — Madonna has re-signed with Warner Records, the very label that launched her career back in the early 1980s.
Behind the boards is producer Stuart Price, best known for his work on 2005’s landmark Confessions on a Dance Floor. For longtime fans, that pairing alone raises the stakes considerably, hinting not just at a long-awaited new record, but possibly a spiritual sequel to one of the most celebrated chapters in her catalog.
